A free UptimeRobot alternative
In 2024–2025 UptimeRobot restricted free accounts to non-commercial use and moved a lot of what used to be free — one-minute checks, more monitors, integrations — behind paid tiers. If your free monitors are for a business, you now technically need a paid plan. That is what sends people looking.

Our honest take. If you want free monitoring you can legitimately use for a business, with alert channels that are not paywalled, GoodPing is the closer fit. UptimeRobot has a bigger paid product with phone alerts and multi-region checks — if you need those, it is still strong.
