Free for most people. £6 when it matters.

Every diagnostic tool on GoodPing is free and always will be — they cost us almost nothing to run. Monitoring costs real money to run continuously, so the heavy end of it is paid.

And unlike most monitors: the free plan may be used commercially, forever. No non-commercial clause, no bait-and-switch. See how we compare →

Questions

Why is monitoring paid but the tools are free?

A tool runs when you press the button. A monitor runs 43,200 times a month whether you look at it or not, and every one of those checks costs bandwidth, CPU and an alert path that has to work at three in the morning. Charging for the part that runs continuously is the honest split.

Is there a free trial of Pro?

The free plan is the trial, and it does not expire. Move up when three sites or five-minute checks stop being enough.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from your own dashboard, without emailing anyone. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, then drop back to Free — monitors above the free limit are paused, not deleted.

Do you offer annual billing or agency plans?

Not yet. If you need to monitor more than 25 sites, or want invoicing, get in touch and we will sort something out.
