Chrome, Edge
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED
The browser could not resolve the hostname. Effectively the same condition as NXDOMAIN, reported by a different part of Chrome.
What causes it
- Typo in the address.
- DNS records missing or not yet published.
- Local DNS cache holding a stale failure.
- A network-level filter blocking the lookup.
If you are the visitor
- Retype the address carefully.
- Flush the DNS cache and try another resolver.
- Disable VPNs, ad-blocking DNS and "family filter" services temporarily.
If it is your website
- Publish or correct the A record.
- Lower the TTL before making DNS changes so mistakes clear quickly.
